I have been with Dalton Public Schools since 1999 and am happy to be part of this wonderful, supportive learning environment.  My greatest satisfaction is helping students discover the world around them and watching them grow emotionally and intellectually, and I always enjoy learning along with them.  This is an exciting time for me at Brookwood since we are integrating our subjects with science, technology, engineering and math.  I strongly believe this approach will help our students succeed in their future careers. 
I grew up in Dalton and obtained my Masters in Education and Ed.S. degrees from Berry College and Lincoln Memorial University.  In addition, I have further certification to teach English Language Learners and Gifted Students.  My husband and I have two beautiful grandchildren and love spending as much time as possible with them.
